Disney World

We just returned from the most amazing vacation to Disney World. We planned for a year and a half to go on a week vacation and we sure weren't let down. Let me give some advice to anyone who wants it....The week BEFORE Thanksgiving week is a GREAT time to go! We hardly waited in any lines. A few times, we just stayed on the rides and went around again because there was no one in line. We did wait for a few of the newer more popular rides, but most of our waits were less than 10 minutes. We didn't stay on site, which was ok, but I would recommend it. We felt that with Teddy's allergies, it would be easier to stay at a place with a kitchen and it was nice to prepare some of our own meals, but we would have liked to be right on site.

The boys loved collecting autographs and collected about a dozen each. They traded pins like crazy too. I think Hank went through every pin he had about 3 times. It was so much fun. We loved Expedition Everest and Rockin Rollercoaster, but my favorite ride was Soarin at Epcot (about the only thing we liked at Epcot!) You ride elevated in front of an Imax screen and "soar" over California. The coolest thing was that you even smelled the vineyards and the Redwood forest. It was amazing!

It was a trip to remember! Oh...and we returned to 30 degree weather in Minnesota. YUK!
